Justin Timberlake addresses 'Take Back The Night' title controversy

Justin Timberlake is responding to criticism from an anti-domestic violence charity called "Take Back The Night."  The organization slammed the singer for using its name as the title for his latest single.

The group told "RadarOnline" it was working to "amicably" resolve the situation with Justin's team.  Take Back The Night cited the song's lyrics as reason for not wanting the Timberlake song to be affiliated with their cause.

Justin released a statement to the gossip site to state that his song has no association with the organization.  The star also said when he learned about the charity, he was "moved by its efforts" and felt it was "something we all should rally around."

Justin added that he hopes "this coincidence will bring more awareness to this cause."

His "Take Back The Night" single is the first off his upcoming "Part Two" of The 20/20 Experience.
